United States 12 companies and four research and development centers have been established in the 21st joint-conversion of solar energy research and development center.
The solar energy research and development center (CRSP) is the state of Colorado Renewable Energy Laboratory part of the laboratory set up in February 2007 to develop renewable energy technologies to promote the commercialization of renewable energy process. The organization last July to establish its first batch of major projects to develop new bio-fuel and biofuel refining technology.
The new solar energy project to convert sunlight to clean, low-cost electricity and fuel. The R & D center will focus on cooperation in the laboratory of the four partner agencies: the U.S. Department of Energy's National Renewable Energy Laboratory, the University of Colorado, mining, Colorado State University and the University of Colorado, Boulder basic and applied research and development.
This 12 companies are: Applied Materials, Inc. / Ascent Solar Technologies, Inc. / DuPont / Evident Technologies, Inc. / Konarka / Lockheed Martin / Motech Industries / QuantumSphere, Inc. / Sharp / Solasta, Inc. / Sub - One Technology / SunEdison.
U.S. National Renewable Energy Laboratory researcher Arthur Nozik CRSP will serve as chief scientist. Its partners are David Jonas, Mike Elliott and Craig Taylor.
